Project Overview
A bottled water producer in Jordan partnered with JNDTECH to build a complete PET bottled water filling line for the local market. The plant needed to run 6,000 to 8,000 bottles per hour across two bottle sizes, a 500ml bottle for retail shelves and a 1.5L bottle for family packs, with one line handling both.
JNDTECH supplied the full turnkey scope: water treatment, blow molding, a 24-24-8 filling monoblock, sleeve labeling and film wrapping. Two JNDTECH engineers carried out the on-site installation and commissioning over approximately 30 days.
Equipment Configuration
The complete line was configured as follows:
- RO water treatment system: reverse osmosis purification with UV and ozone sterilization to produce food-grade purified water from local source water.
- Two fully automatic PET blow molding machines: installed side by side to cover the 6000-8000 BPH bottle supply. Each machine runs one bottle size, so the line can switch between 500ml and 1.5L without stopping the whole production.
- 24-24-8 3 in 1 filling monoblock: rinsing (24 valves), gravity filling (24 valves) and capping (8 heads) in one machine at 6,000-8,000 BPH. Changeover between the 500ml and 1.5L PET bottles is done with the corresponding neck handles, star wheels and guide rails.
- Sleeve labeling machine: applies shrink sleeve labels around the full bottle body, giving both sizes a clean retail look for supermarket shelves.
- Linear film wrapping machine: bundles finished bottles into multipacks (6x or 12x) for distribution to shops and wholesalers.
On-Site Installation
Two JNDTECH engineers completed the installation and commissioning in approximately 30 days:
- Week 1: site check against the layout drawing, RO water treatment installation and piping, both blow molding machines positioned with mold testing for 500ml and 1.5L.
- Week 2: 24-24-8 filling monoblock positioning, air conveyor and bottle conveyor connection, utility hookup (power, compressed air), single-machine test runs.
- Week 3: sleeve labeling machine and linear film wrapping machine setup, full-line dry run, bottle size changeover test between 500ml and 1.5L.
- Week 4: production testing with actual purified water at 6,000-8,000 BPH, speed optimization, operator training and handover.
