How It Works — Continuous Servo Blow Molding

Preforms are auto-fed from the hopper, heated in the IR oven to the blowing temperature, then transferred to the blowing station where servo stretch rods pull the parison while high-pressure air forms the bottle against the mold. Because the clamp, stretch and transfer are all servo-driven, the machine needs no shop-air compressor and runs quieter and more efficiently than pneumatic models. Finished bottles eject onto the air conveyor to the filler.
