Built around a multi-stage RO membrane rack, a 55–70 bar high-pressure pump and an energy recovery device (ERD), it delivers reliable fresh water for islands, vessels, coastal resorts, offshore platforms and remote military or mining sites where no freshwater source exists.

Seawater is first pretreated (sand/multimedia filtration + cartridge filter + antiscalant) to remove particles and prevent scaling. A high-pressure pump then pushes the water to 55–70 bar against the SWRO membranes. Pure water passes through the membrane; concentrated brine is rejected. The energy recovery device captures pressure from the brine and feeds it back to the feed, slashing power consumption. Finally, post-treatment (remineralization + UV/O₃) adjusts taste and safety before storage.
A common question: can a normal RO unit desalinate seawater? No. Standard brackish-water RO (used in our Pure Water Treatment Equipment) runs at 8–15 bar and cannot overcome seawater osmotic pressure. Seawater desalination needs 55–70 bar pumps, seawater-grade membranes and energy recovery — a different machine class. Choose SWRO when feed TDS exceeds ~10,000 ppm; choose brackish RO below that.
