Product Description

Semi-Auto Shrink Wrap Machine for Bottles, Cans and Cartons

The JNDTECH JND-250B is a semi-automatic shrink wrap machine that bundles bottles, cans, cartons and trays in PE shrink film. It runs at 300 to 400 packs per hour, wrapping each pack in film and shrinking it in a hot-air tunnel for a tight, dust-proof bundle. It is also called a shrink wrapping machine, a shrink film packaging machine or a heat shrink packaging machine. Because the operator loads each pack by hand, the machine costs far less than a fully automatic line and suits small and mid-size plants that pack in batches.

How the Semi-Automatic Shrink Wrap Machine Works

The cycle is simple and repeats the same way every time:

  1. Manual loading. An operator places the bottles, cans or cartons on the conveyor in the pack pattern.
  2. Film wrapping. The machine wraps PE shrink film around the pack and folds the ends.
  3. Sealing and cutting. A constant-temperature sealer closes the film and trims the edge for a neat finish.
  4. Shrink tunnel. The wrapped pack passes through a hot-air tunnel where the film shrinks tight around the product.
  5. Cooling and output. The pack cools as it leaves the tunnel, ready for storage or the pallet.

The operator only loads and unloads. Everything after loading runs automatically, which keeps the labour demand low and the pack quality consistent from the first pack to the last.

Why Choose a Semi-Automatic Shrink Wrapping Machine

Not every plant needs a fully automatic wrapper. A semi-automatic shrink wrap machine makes sense when output is moderate, the pack pattern changes often, or floor space and budget are limited.

  • Lower investment. There is no bottle sorting or automatic collator, so a semi automatic shrink wrapping machine costs a fraction of a fully automatic line.
  • Quick changeover. Changing the pack pattern or bottle size is mostly a matter of adjusting guides and sealing temperature, not rebuilding the line.
  • Small footprint. One compact unit that fits a small workshop beside an existing filling line.
  • Easy to run. One operator can load, monitor and unload without special training.
  • Scales with you. It works as a standalone packer, and it is the natural first packing step before you upgrade to an automatic shrink wrap machine.

Shrink Film and Pack Sizes

The machine runs PE shrink film, the standard film for beverage bundling. Film thickness is chosen to suit the load: heavier bundles need a thicker film, while light trays can use a thinner one. The shrink tunnel temperature is set to the film, so the same machine handles different film grades.

Applications

The semi-automatic shrink wrap machine packs bottled water, carbonated drinks, juice, dairy and edible oil, along with canned food, cartons and trays. It is a good fit for a small water plant running one filling line, for a contract packer handling several pack patterns a day, and for any factory that wants a retail-ready bundle without paying for a fully automatic end of line.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the packing speed of the JND-250B?

About 300 to 400 packs per hour, which is roughly 5 to 7 packs per minute. The exact rate depends on the pack size and how fast the operator loads.

What film does a shrink wrap machine use?

PE (LDPE) shrink film is standard for beverage bundling, in thickness from 30 to 150 um. Use a thicker film for heavy bundles and a thinner one for light trays.

Can it pack different bottle sizes?

Yes, within the size range. Changing the pack pattern is mainly a matter of adjusting the guides and the sealing temperature, so one machine handles several products.

Semi-automatic or fully automatic, which do I need?

Choose semi-automatic when output is moderate and the pack pattern changes often. Step up to a fully automatic shrink wrap machine when you pack the same product at high volume and want to remove the operator.

Does the machine need an air supply?

Yes. It uses compressed air at 0.6 to 0.8 MPa for the sealing and film handling. A standard workshop compressor is enough.
