What Is a Carbonated Drink Filling Line
A carbonated drink filling line is a complete production system for PET-bottled soft drinks with gas: cola, soda water, sparkling water and low-pulp energy drinks. Unlike still-water plants, the line keeps CO2 in the bottle from the mixer to the sealed cap. JNDTECH supplies the full line - syrup preparation, carbonation, isobaric filling, capping and downstream packaging - from 2,000 to 36,000 BPH.
Line Composition
A turnkey carbonated drink line starts before the filler and ends after the capper:
- Water treatment system - RO or UF plus UV and ozone to prepare process water.
- Syrup mixing and deaerator - blends syrup, water and additives, removes dissolved oxygen.
- Carbonation mixer - chills the drink and dissolves CO2 to the target gas volume.
- Isobaric 3-in-1 monoblock - rinses, counter-pressure fills and caps in one frame.
- PET blow molding machine - makes bottles in-house from preforms.
- Labeling machine - OPP hot-melt, self-adhesive or sleeve labeling.
- Shrink wrap or case packer and palletizer - finishes retail-ready packs.
Isobaric Filling: the Heart of the Line
The monoblock charges CO2 into each bottle to match tank pressure before filling. The drink flows in under equal pressure with almost no foaming, the bottle is de-pressurized, and a servo capper seals it. The result is stable carbonation from tank to shelf.
- Low CO2 loss - below 0.5 g/L, protecting fizz and cost per bottle.
- Accurate level - around +/- 2 mm, uniform appearance with less overfill.
- PET-friendly gripper - neck-holding transport protects the bottle body.

What is the difference from a still-water filling line?
A carbonated line adds a deaerator, carbonation mixer and isobaric filler so CO2 stays in the product; still-water lines use gravity or negative-pressure filling.
What bottles can the line handle?
