Robot Palletizer for Bottling and Packing Lines
An articulated robot palletizer lifts cartons, bags and barrels off the end of a filling line and stacks them onto pallets without an operator. The arm, gripper and pallet conveyor run from one controller, so a new carton size is set on the touch screen instead of by moving guides.
The JNDTECH robot palletizer carries a maximum load of 30 to 1000 kg depending on the model, with an arm span of 1200 to 3200 mm. That range covers a line end stacking 20 kg cartons of bottled water and a heavy cell moving 200 L drums. Payload, arm span and gripper type are confirmed against your carton and pallet dimensions before the machine is built.
How the Robot Palletizer Works
Five steps repeat for every layer.
- Orientation. Cartons arrive from the carton packing machine on a conveyor. A guide rail squares each one to the pick position, so the gripper always meets the same face.
- Vision scan. A 3D camera or laser sensor measures the carton size and position, then the controller plans the shortest safe path to the pallet.
- Grip. Vacuum suction cups, a clamp gripper or a fork gripper takes the load. The choice follows the packaging: suction for trays, clamps for cases, forks for bags and drums.
- Layer build. The servo system places each carton in the programmed pattern. Repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.04 mm on models fitted with the high precision servo package.
- Pallet exchange. When the pattern finishes, the full pallet moves out on the pallet conveyor and an empty one is indexed in, so the line keeps running.
Speed depends on the pattern and the load, and runs from 1150 to 2100 boxes per hour. Stacking error is held below ±1 mm.

The two speed figures use different units, so read them as separate baselines rather than a direct comparison. For one high speed line running a single carton size, the gantry frame is simpler. Carton, Bag and Barrel Palletizing in Beverage Plants
Most JNDTECH robot palletizers ship into three kinds of plant.
- Bottling lines. Water, juice and carbonated drink lines end at the carton packing machine, and the arm stacks trays and cases at line speed.

- Mixed format warehouses. Plants where the carton changes between shifts, so the pattern is recalled from the controller instead of re-rigging the machine.

How much floor space does a robot palletizer need? The arm itself is compact and floor mounted, while most of the space claim comes from the pallet conveyor and the safety guard around the working envelope. Send your layout drawing and we will mark the footprint on it.
Can one robot palletizer serve two production lines? Where two line ends sit close together, one arm can be programmed to serve both. Reach is 1200 to 3200 mm by model, so send the distance between the line ends and we will confirm which arm covers it.
