Product Description

Water Pouch Filling Machine for Sachet and Pouch Water

The JNDTECH water pouch filling machine fills drinking water into sealed plastic pouches from 200 ml to 1.5 L at up to 3,000 pouches per hour. It runs as a vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) unit, forming the pouch, filling it with treated water and sealing it in one continuous cycle. It is also called a water sachet filling machine or a pouch water packaging machine, and it suits producers who sell low-cost single-serve drinking water in markets where pouch water is a daily product.

How the Pouch Filling Machine Works

The machine runs four steps on a repeat cycle, many times a minute:

  • Film feed: a roll of food-grade LDPE film is pulled in at steady tension.
  • Bag forming: the film is shaped into a tube and sealed along the vertical edge.
  • Filling: a measured volume of treated water drops into the open pouch.
  • Sealing and cutting: the top seal closes the pouch, and a blade cuts it free.

The machine runs a single lane, which keeps the footprint small and makes the seal easy to control on every pouch. A date printer, a hole punch for hanging display, and a counting table are available as optional modules.

Film and Seal Quality Decide the Product

The seal is what makes a pouch water product work. A weak seal leaks in the crate and makes the pack look cheap on the shelf. Three things control the seal on a pouch filling machine: the film material, the sealing temperature, and the jaw pressure and dwell time. Food-grade LDPE film at the right thickness, a stable sealing temperature and even jaw pressure give a clean, strong seal on every pouch. Keep the sealing jaws clean and the temperature steady, and the pouch comes out tight every cycle.

Pouch Sizes and Output

Match the pouch to how your customers buy. The machine handles a size range, changed by swapping the forming collar and adjusting the seal and fill settings.

Pouch sizeTypical useNotes

500 mlThe most common daily sizeBalances price and volume

Output is rated in pouches per hour, not bottles per hour. This model runs up to 3,000 pouches per hour. Tell us your pouch size and target daily output, and we will confirm the right configuration for your market.

Build a Complete Pouch Water Line

The pouch filling machine is the center of the line. A complete setup runs from water treatment to packed cartons:

  1. Water treatment: multi-media and carbon filters, reverse osmosis, then UV or ozone sterilization.
  2. Treated water tank and transfer pump to the filler.
  3. Water pouch filling machine (VFFS), single lane, with date printer and cutter.
  4. Counting, stacking and carton packing for distribution.

Applications

The water pouch filling machine is built for sachet water and pouch drinking water, the low-cost single-serve format common in West Africa, parts of Asia and the Middle East. The same machine also packs juice, flavored drinks and other liquids into pouches when fitted with the right filling head and film. It suits new producers entering the pouch water business and existing plants adding a pouch line beside a bottle line.

Frequently Asked Questions

What film does a water pouch filling machine use?

Food-grade LDPE film is standard for pouch water. It is flexible, low cost and safe for drinking water. Film thickness is chosen to suit the pouch size and how the pouch is handled and stacked.

Do I need water treatment for pouch water?

Yes. Pouch water is sold as drinking water, so it must be treated first. Filtration plus reverse osmosis, finished with UV or ozone, is the usual setup ahead of the pouch filling machine.

How many pouches per hour can the machine produce?

Up to 3,000 pouches per hour for this model. Send your pouch size and target daily output and we will confirm whether this capacity fits, or recommend a higher-output line.

Can one machine run different pouch sizes?

Yes, within a range. Changing pouch size means changing the forming collar and the seal and fill settings. Check the size range before you order if you plan to sell more than one pack.

Can the pouch filling machine connect to an existing line?

Yes. It can run as a standalone unit or as part of a complete pouch water line with water treatment, a treated water tank and carton packing.
